Reclusive DVP Groundhog PT. 2

The infamous DVP groundhog has become increasingly more brave since my last post (http://radinilya.blogspot.ca/2011/04/reclusive-dvp-groundhog.html).  I managed to snap a picture of him near the side of the road.

Moments after taking this picture, I began to wonder why he was so close to the road.  Was he trying to escape his lonesome fate, trapped between two perma-busy Toronto highways?  Was he becoming self aware of the greater world around him?  Was the melancholy leading him to a suicidal mission under the tracks of some drive-by vehicle?  Or was he simply scavenging remains of food some fat guy threw out of his window onto the side of the road?

Sure enough, the following week he was in the same place, lifeless.  

R.I.P Recluse. 

February 29th, National Fake Day

Since this day only comes around once every 4 years, and it is neglected by accountants many salaried employees must work for free.

I say gather together, stand up against the tyrant and draft the worlds first quarter annual national holiday, Fake Day.

On this day, business men can wear gangster clothes, rappers can wear suit and ties. Everyone should try at all costs to lie as much as possible.

For once we should praise the superficial because if we can get it out of systems at least once every four years, maybe there will be less in the world the rest of the time. Besides, Canada is always on the lookout for new holidays why not dis-employ one that already dosn't exist?

She tells me that she likes that i'm an asshole.

Further questioning reveals that it's not my being an asshole she likes, its the way I do it. Most men will put on a perfect facade, which will inevitably fall at some points in time. Those are the asshole moments nobody wants to see because it breaks an unspoken promise of a perfection we all though twe wanted.

In me she sees a consistent asshole, but when I do good, its for her, and her alone. That's why she likes that i'm an asshole.

Internet speeds are exponentially increasing. Rogers Canada is launching a mobile Internet Service with top download speeds of up to 150MB per second.

Online banner ads have been around for a long time and many customers can be quite competent in understanding the difference between web content and advertisement.

As we spend less time on web pages, for example less loading time, it is a fair assumption that we will focus directly on the content and waste less time browsing the featured advertisements.

Companies have the capability to roll out incredible high speed fiber optic networks yet companies may backlash as they would have to shift to even more directly targeted and interactive marketing strategies to retain value for their advertising dollars.

My opinion is that we will see a dramatic decrease in banner ads as website development can be done by beginners in several minutes and only cost very little. SEO marketing through micro blogs is effective and keeps the money coming for google. Which company doesn't dream of their domain being at the top of dozens of Google searches?

Reclusive DVP Groundhog

In a grassy patch between the loud and noisy opposing directions of Toronto's busy highway, a lone groundhog lives inside burrow for many years.

With no escape but certain death, he must accept his destined fate.
